Safety & slope etiquette rules
1- RESPECT FOR OTHERS:
Have fun, but without endangering yourself or other skiers. Helmets are mandatory for children and strongly recommended for adults; sunglasses or goggles are also recommended to protect your eyes.
2 – RESPECT INFORMATION, MARKINGS, AND SIGNAGE:
Obey all signs.
3 – CONTROL YOUR SPEED, DIRECTION, AND OVERTAKING:
Always ski within your physical and technical limits; if you are the skier further up the slope, always choose a path that ensures the safety of the skier below you.
4 – CROSSING SLOPES:
Check for skiers coming from above and cross cautiously.
5 – STOPPING & CLIMBING:
Stop and move on foot along the sides of the slopes.
6 – IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT:
Everyone (you or your parents) must provide assistance.
7 – IDENTIFICATION:
If you witness an accident—whether or not you are involved—you must provide your identity details.
8 – OFF-PISTE:
Seek advice from mountain professionals and do not venture into unknown terrain without them or the proper equipment (avalanche transceiver/DVA).
Rent instead of buying this year.

Ski Clothing Rental Service:
A partnership with the ski school allows for the rental of ski clothing and outfits (featuring brands for adults and children aged 1 and up). For more information or to make a reservation, you can visit the Les Saisies Tourist Office website directly or contact the local ski school.

For skiers with some experience: You can reach us in the resort center by taking the Rosières gondola, then skiing down the “La Bergerie” blue run to the “Boëtet” and “Chardons” covered conveyor lifts. Both will bring you to our meeting point.
For beginners: You can take the free shuttle buses: Shuttle No. 2 to Plan du Pré, then a direct connection on Shuttle No. 1 to the “Chardons” covered conveyor lift. Allow 40 minutes for the journey. The shuttles run frequently and are timed to coincide with our group lesson schedules.
