The ESi Glisse Passion alpine ski lessons for children are designed for young skiers aged 4 to 12. They cater to all children, from beginners to those looking to refine their skills. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children learn the fundamentals of skiing, gradually building confidence on the slopes through exercises tailored to their ability level. Small group sizes ensure instructors can attend to each child’s individual needs, fostering progress in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Various options available

Several options are available: Mini-Team, Basic, Basic+, and Premium, as well as the Liberté Pack (available from the Cristal International level). For skilled skiers, the Stage Run program rounds out the offering with an introduction to freeriding, ski cross, and competition, along with an introduction to avalanche victim search techniques. The Stage Run is open to children who have achieved the Cristal d’Or or Board d’Or level.

Class Schedule & Options

The Mini-Team option accommodates up to 5 children from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Sessions run from Sunday to Friday during school holidays and from Monday to Friday outside of holiday periods. It is also available from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm (Monday to Friday) during the Christmas and New Year holidays, and from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm during the February holidays.

BASIC & BASIC +

The Basic option, limited to 10 children, runs from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm (Sunday to Friday) during the Christmas and New Year holidays, and from Monday to Friday outside of holiday periods.

The Basic+ option accommodates up to 10 children from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm (Sunday to Friday) during the February holidays.

PREMIUM & LIBERTÉ

Finally, the Premium option, limited to 8 children, is available from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm during the Christmas and New Year holidays, and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm during the February holidays (Sunday to Friday).

The Liberté Pack allows for two consecutive sessions on the same day. The “Stage Run” course takes place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday, during the February holidays.

Ski pass and equipement

The lift pass is not included in the cost of the lesson. You will need to arrange for one when the child is skiing on the main slopes. For initial sessions in designated beginner areas, pass requirements may vary depending on how that specific sector operates. Insurance covering accidents, rescue services, and potential cancellations is recommended. For the “Pack Liberté,” bookings must be made directly with ESi Glisse Passion via email or phone.

Equipment required for children’s ski lessons in Les Saisies

Your child must arrive with a full set of equipment suitable for skiing. Please ensure they have skis, boots, poles, a helmet, warm and waterproof clothing, and goggles or sunglasses. Also, remember to pack sunscreen and clothing that is warm enough for the prevailing weather conditions.
